The Certifications and Exemptions team carries out a variety of certification and authorisation functions in the area of hazardous substances to support compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.
The team is primarily Wellington-based, sees plenty of variety and encounters challenging topics daily. We work closely with industry and other experts, as well as with key WorkSafe teams including legal and policy.

**Ko tōu ake mahi - What You'll Do**:
Support the wider team to ensure effective risk management and provide timely and accurate responses to external queries.
Assist the team in responding to peaks in the workload.
**Ko ngā pukenga ōu - What You'll Bring**:
Ability to effectively assess and manage short and long-term risks.
Ability to maintain accurate information and to provide informative reports.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.

Awhe utu - Salary range
As part of our remuneration framework the full salary range for the position is from $80,037 to $105,342. Note: KiwiSaver/SSRSS employer contribution is additional to/on top of your base salary.
