**The Role**:
You will be responsible for the ongoing development and deployment of the backup and disaster recovery strategy, manage the maintenance and support of Servers, PCs, and the Councils internal and external networks, administer the Council’s LAN, WAN, VOIP phone system and undertake configuration changes to routers, firewalls and switches.

You will need to hit the ground running, be able to work independently and collaboratively with the wider team to ensure successful delivery on service-related projects.

**Required Skill Set**:

- 5+ years of hands-on experience and industry relevant qualifications are desired.
- In-depth knowledge and exposure across Active Directory, DNS, ADFS, Office 365 and Exchange and physical Server infrastructure.
- Skilled in the administration of Microsoft’s Terminal server and Exchange Server.
- Extensive knowledge of Storage Area Networks, specifically HPE, iSCSI, and NFS.
- Skilled in the building, support and administration of Windows NT servers and their operating systems.
- Hands-on exposure in Backups. Cohesity and Veeam are advantageous.
