The Civil Delivery Project Manager will provide construction and delivery project management expertise to help deliver strategic projects. The position will have a specific focus on delivery of civil works in the live rail environment as part of the Rail Network Growth Impact Management (RNGIM) programme. The role requires delivery of projects, including being leader of teams and/or managing complex/large projects. The role requires a clear understanding of the management of the project lifecycle and the ability to work collaboratively with all stakeholders and achieve outstanding project outcomes. It may require the incumbant to scope, organise and monitor progress of programme projects, leading them throught to their successful completion. The role will provide technical and project leadership and involves keeping close control of time and money while also proactively looking for innovation and improvement opportunities. Creating high quality project plans and undertaking comprehensive and timely reporting to support KiwiRail's management and governance structures is a key requirement of the role. As part of project delivery, there will be the need to proactively work across multiple business units and with multiple stakeholders to get alignment in order to achieve successful outcomes. Advanced communication skills, a critical mind and tenacious approach and ability to implementbest for business solutions to complex issues will be required to achieve this. Health and Safety is an important part of how KiwiRail operates.
