About the Role
King's College is seeking a proactive and creative experienced and motivated Digital Marketing Coordinator to support our busy marketing and communications team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 2-3 years of digital marketing experience who is looking to take the next step in their career.
In this role, you'll work closely with the Marketing and Communications Director to keep our website content up to date, manage our social media channels, and assist with the delivery of digital campaigns. You'll help ensure our brand is presented consistently and engagingly across all online platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Website Management:
- Update and maintain website content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with brand and marketing priorities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure web pages are engaging, user-friendly, and support key marketing and enrolment goals.
Content and Social Media Management:
- Help deliver the College's digital content plan by creating, scheduling, and publishing engaging, on-brand posts across social media and the website.
- Manage the content calendar to maintain consistency and optimise for reach and engagement.
- Monitor social media channels, respond to messages where appropriate, and use insights to guide future content and engagement strategies.
Digital Campaigns:
- Support the setup, delivery, and optimisation of digital campaigns across search, social, and display channels.
- Track performance and provide regular reports with insights and recommendations to improve results.
Website and User Experience:
Work with the wider team to keep website content current and relevant.
- Use analytics to understand visitor behaviour, improve user journeys, and increase engagement and conversion.
- Assist with testing and implementing improvements that enhance site performance.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Use tools such as Google Analytics and Looker Studio to track the performance of digital channels.
- Prepare regular reports on website traffic, campaign effectiveness, and social media engagement to support data-driven decision-making.
Skills and Experience
- A Bachelor's degree or higher.
- 2-3 years of experience in a digital marketing or content-focused role.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to foster strong relationships.
- A collaborative and proactive approach to your work.
Requirements: Applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand and will be subject to vetting under the Vulnerable Children Act.
