**Te Whiwhinga Mahi| The Opportunity**:
As a key member of the Network Operations Leadership Team, you will play a pivotal role in driving and delivering our strategic direction for the fibre build programme as well as overseeing our property operations, including network and commercial property assets.

As the Head of Build and Property you will be responsible for crafting our annual capital works programme and customer reactive programmes into a series of infrastructure projects to achieve planned business outcomes and enable us to deliver consistently superior services to customers.

Leading a dynamic team, you will foster a high-performance culture, and promote collaboration across Network Operations, Infrastructure team and our Technology office to optimise our property assets and deliver planned works and maintenance to meet budget, timeline and quality requirements, ensuring long term operational serviceability of our assets.

Your days will be varied but could include the following:

- Developing and executing our corporate and network asset property plans.
- Forming network plans, programme scheduling and project change controls.
- Working on delivery of build programs and performance of service companies including meeting KPI’s and SLA’s.
- Working closely within the broader service company strategy and procurement frameworks to ensure the right partners are selected to deliver relevant network build and property operations outcomes.
- Collaborating with Infrastructure to ensure delivery of key network related optimisation projects.
- Leading by example by engaging actively in pan-Chorus planning, governance processes and ways of working to maximize effectiveness across the business.
- Driving an understanding of the regulatory framework and ensuring there is compliance with our regulatory obligations.

**Ō Wheako, ō Pūkenga | Your Experience**:
This role requires a forward-thinking leader with a proven track record in capital plan delivery, team leadership, and strong commercial acumen.

Qualities and experience we’re looking for include:

- Extensive experience in Infrastructure capital works programmes
- 10+ years in a mid-level or senior leadership position within a capital-intensive industry in asset, technology and contract management’ experience
- Deep working knowledge of contract conditions and wider ecosystem
- Evidence of analysing and manage complex trade offs
- Programme and risk management and cost control including forecasting, actual cost and value reporting
- Strong commercial or contractual experience essential
