**About The Role**

The Dynamic business is at an exciting point in its journey and has reshaped their strategy for growth, building on their global leadership position in the medical mobility market. The business has established a growth mindset relating to its people and has made good progress towards a strategic goal of being prepared through developing their people. Consequently, they are now starting the next phase of their journey in which, the Head of People & Capability role will play a key part in building an HR function that will champion people and culture as competitive advantage.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the role will sit on the ELT, offering alternate viewpoints and perspectives and acting as a sounding board and trusted advisor. This will suit somebody with an understanding of group workings who will increase accountability and assist in the development of the other leaders to do so. Strong operational HR is the baseline for the role but the ability to establish a balance between best practice HR Management - including process and regulatory perspectives - and developing talent and bench-strength in readiness for growth is essential. As there will be opportunity to grow in the future, the next two to three years may see the emphasis change more towards organisational structure and how to create leverage both within the organisation and externally with Dynamic’s business partners.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Being an innovator in People and Culture and creating a vision for supporting and developing Dynamic people and growing the HR function.
- Prioritising being a fully engaged, active member of the Dynamic ELT contributing to all aspects of creating and executing the Strategic Plan
- Be the senior advisor to the MD and ELT and other leaders in the business in all matters relating to people
- Ensure best practice process, support and oversight are created and maintained for:

- Recruitment
- Organisation development
- Health, Safety and Wellbeing
- Performance management
- Reward and recognition
- HR Fundamentals
- NZ employment law (some knowledge of UK an advantage)
- Participation in global people related initiatives
