Our Healthy Waters space is going through an exciting time - and we are now looking for a Senior Stormwater Dams Programme Engineer to join us
- Please note: This role is internally referred to as a Senior Healthy Waters Specialist_

In this role, you would be responsible for ensuring the delivery of industry best practices and leading the development and implementation of Dam Safety Management System (DSMS) for stormwater dams, surveillance programs, emergency management processes, and reporting in accordance with the NZ Society on Large Dams (NZSOLD) guideline.

**You can expect to work on**:

- Meeting the requirements of the NZ Society on Large Dams (NZSOLD) guideline
- Compliance with Resource Consent Conditions
- Compliance with Building Act requirements
- Asset management, renewals forecasting, and growth planning
- Assisting in overseeing the operation and maintenance of dams associated with stormwater ponds to ensure the identified levels of service are met
- Leading the development of business cases related to renewals and capital upgrade programmes for stormwater dams.
- n.b This role may require the successful applicant to undertake On-Call duty on a rostered basis._

**He kōrero mōu: About you**

To be successful in this role you will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the stormwater ponds design and or operations of ponds or dams infrastructure, with at least 3 years in the specialist area of dam or pond management programming.

It would be desirable that applicants have 5 years in the specialist area of stormwater ponds or dams infrastructure and be well experienced in site safety and safety-in-design experience, contract management & administration, as well as business case development and benefits identification.

The succesful applicant must have a full and clean NZ drivers licence.

We will also be looking for experience with:

- New Zealand Society on Large Dams (NZSOLD) guideline as well as relevant sections of Resource Management Act and Building Act related to dams
- Consultation and stakeholder management influencing
- Knowledge of software packages utilised by Healthy Waters such as Horizon, Sentient, SAP Ariba, SAP Finance, and GIS would be beneficial.
