**The Role**
- Install, configure, and provide ongoing support for network desktops, printers, and laptops.
- Install and configure communications devices, including faxes and mobile phones.
- Provide support for both virtual and physical servers.
- Support various network devices, such as switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Ensure the maintenance and support of the telecommunications and network infrastructure.
- Maintain and support communications systems.
- Administer and maintain Active Directory Domain Services.
- Provide support for Citrix servers and the platform.
- Offer support for Azure and O365 services.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Contribute as necessary to ICS and organizational projects.
- Play a role in enhancing the quality of service provided.
- Contribute to the technology roadmap planning
- Participate in the ICS after-hours on-call roster
- Provide advice and solutions in the management of ICS risk
- Provide guidance to Service Desk if and where required
- Maintain mutually beneficial relationships with external suppliers
- Identify and assess the relevance of new information and telecommunication technologies to the supported organisations.
- Act as an overflow for Service Desk calls
- Promptly escalate issues affecting production environments to Service Delivery Manager

**Skills & Experience**
- Tertiary Computer Engineering qualification preferred.
- ITIL Foundation qualification preferred.
- Health care experience preferred, but not essential.
- Relevant industry certifications e.g. Microsoft, Citrix
- Computer and mobile device security systems
- Installation and management of network desktops, thin client devices, tablets and printers
- Windows desktop and server operating systems installation and management
- Active Directory Domain Services and Group Policy
- Management of servers in a virtual environment utilising VMWare
- Citrix server and platform management
- IP phone system provisioning and troubleshooting
- Network support using Cisco hardware.
- Microsoft Exchange
- Backup solutions
- MS Office, Exchange, O365 and Azure
- Service Desk operations
- Antivirus and web access management solutions
