**Job Description**:
**Kōrero mō te tūranga | About the role**
Would you like a job at one of New Zealand’s favourite power retailers? We are looking for our next group of Customer Service Representatives to join the team. At Contact Energy, we reckon we offer the best customer service in Aotearoa.
This is the perfect role for somebody studying or looking for flexible 20 hour per week, customer service/admin work.
In this role you will have 8 weeks of full time training before moving onto part time, 20 hours per week
Your main tasks you will complete are a mix of data entry and outbound call customer service:
**LPG bottle gas**: You will process everything from online orders through to queries, with some outbound calls to confirm deliveries etc.
After an initial period of 3-6 months you will look to be trained to handle inbound phone calls, to provide customer with a great experience across all of Contacts offering.
**Important info**:
- The start date will be the 11th December with **no leave over the Xmas** period apart from public holidays.
- First 8 weeks are full time Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
- Your 20 hours per week after training will be flexible, you just need to work one weekend day and minimum 8 hours during the week.
A shift example for 20 hours per week could be (this will be flexible to each person after training):
- 6pm-10pm Monday (4 hours)
- 11am to 3pm Wednesday and Thursday (8 hours)
- 8am-5pm Saturday (8 Hours)

A great attitude is first and foremost We are really big on 360 feedback here at Contact, so that means from your leader/ team mates/ and customers, learning is a everyday occurrence
Working across multiple systems you’ll need to be comfortable with computers, with a great typing/processing speed to keep up with the mahi.
We aren’t looking for robots and don’t use scripts, so being able to connect with people and hold a convo is a must

- This role is based at our Dunedin office.
- Start date is Monday 11th December.
