**The role**

Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for an enthusiastic Parts Advisor to join our team in our busy Dunedin branch. This is a full time, permanent position reporting to the Branch Manager. In this busy, hands-on role you will be responsible for supporting our customers, sales team, and local workshops with their parts requirements across our diverse range. The branch is operational from 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday. You will work a 42.5 hour week, and will need to be flexible to work a rostered Saturday morning each month (9:00am - 12:00pm)

**Specific Job Duties**
- Provide parts interpreting services & support to our customers, sales team, and local workshops
- Provide a regular flow of parts internally and externally to ensure adequate and appropriate supply
- Respond positively to sales team and customer orders and ensure delivery in a timely manner
- Increase and maximise all parts sales using up-selling and cross selling methods where appropriate
- Make phone contact with our customer base when requested to increase business and promote new products and deals
- Build relationships with customers to ensure ongoing business and use of genuine parts
- Help promote and sell TWL aftermarket product lines where relevant
- Monitor and keep informed of latest product developments and updates, using these to maximum advantage
- Participate in regular stock takes and assist with processing returns and credits as needed

**About You**

Ideal applicants will have strong attention to detail and a passion for customer service. You will have had some exposure to a parts environment, ideally within the automotive or heavy transport industries. You will have completed, in the process of or very interested in completing a Certificate in Parts Interpretation (through MITO) or you may be a Diesel Technician or Mechanic wanting to get off the tools and try something new. You will be capable of picking, packing and dispatching customer orders and you will understand the importance of prioritising tasks to ensure customer expectations are exceeded. You will work with high energy and your strong resilience will help you manage a fast-changing workload. You will be comfortable reading and interpreting parts catalogues and you will be a competent user of most MS Office programmes. A full driving licence is desirable.
