The Warehouse Group Business (TWGB) is the business to business engine within our retail brands that provides a consolidated shopping experience for our business customers. The Business Sales & Partnerships team support the needs of business customers across all industries and sectors, from owner-operators in trade and construction, to large corporates and government agencies. **Job Description**:
This Account Manager role would suit a passionate sales professional who wants to bring their drive and love for sales into the TWGB team. Reporting into the Account Management Chapter Lead, this role will be critical in our growth agenda as you build, maintain & grow existing TWG portfolios and customers within the Building and Trade sector across the Waikato/South Auckland region.
Quick snapshot of the role:
- Seek to grow existing customer relationships and account size within the Building and Trade sector
- Provide customer first service to grow managed accounts
- Be a passionate ambassador for TWGB in the external market and with internal stakeholders
- Demonstrate best in class sales behaviours & deliver end to end exceptional customer service
- Take a proactive and organised approach to managing own resources, appointments and customer visits
- Being aware of local competitor activities and suggesting ways to stay ahead
**Qualifications**:
Sales savvy and target driven, with a personality, you’re passionate about sales, business development and relationship management. You will be able to point to a strong background in sales and/or business development at a commercial level and be skilled at developing win-win solutions. Ideally you will have strong existing relationships within the Building and Trade sector to leverage existing and harness future opportunities.
Your excellent communication and relationship management skills will also put you in good stead, as this role will see you work cross functionally with a range of internal stakeholders at all levels.

- Demonstratable experience within a highly successful direct sales role
- Ability to handle pressure and execute multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong commercial acumen
- Able to communicate effectively to all levels and be highly results driven
