**Description**:
Our client requires an experienced Account Manager to bolster the Auckland team and work their magic on their valued existing clients. Many successful Account Managers in this company come from a technical, systems engineering background.
This is a full-time permanent opportunity and would be ideal for someone who is looking to step up as part of career development. This role would be more suited to people with intermediate-level (3 years) experience in account management.
**What you’ll be doing**:
- Manage an assigned number of existing key clients to a high standard, ensuring clients are satisfied with the products and services provided
- Become a trusted advisor and work with the Business Development Manager to succeed in the growth of your portfolio of clients
- Strategically develop and maintain a technology roadmap for each client - success comes from having a great plan
- Build and maintain relationships, negotiating and managing SLAs and projects
**What you’ll need to succeed**:
- Ideally 3 years of account management experience
- Proven IT solutions sales experience
- Preferably a technical IT background
- A strong customer service delivery focus
- High level of analytical/ problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer relationship building skills
- Strong business acumen
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to sell innovation and ideas
- A current and valid NZ driver’s license
