**About the Role | Mō te Tūranga**

Working closely with the Supply Chain Manager, you'll lead from the front, modeling a culture of collaboration, safety and honesty - inspiring our team to bring their best work each day and return home safe.

You’ll also play an active role in our continuous improvement plans, identifying, developing and rolling out initiatives with the wider team, ensuring successful embedment and effectively managing change communications, there will be plenty of room for you to make your mark.
- Oversee the effective management of the DC’s Operation to meet production requirements and performance targets around safety, service, cost and capability
- Actively and positively contribute to the development and implementation of improved safety practice, process and culture at the DC
- Undertake change management projects and initiatives within operations and the broader business as required
- Build and develop an engaged team dedicated to working collaboratively and role modelling the culture, values and commitment that Countdown requires

**About You | Mōu**

To succeed in this role you will bring 7+ years of Supply Chain Distribution Centre Leadership experience leading large numbers of front line team members. You’ll have the ability to promote a culture of change and innovation within the team to enable performance targets being achieved and to be the best they can be.

With an extensive understanding of Supply Chain operations, you’ll be able to consult and share the impact of business decisions to ensure processes are seamless for our team and customers.
