Quality Control Assistant

The Position

We are looking for a Night Shift Casual Quality Control Assistant to join our Quality Assurance Team based in Wiri, Manukau.  This is a casual position (approximately 40 hours per week) within our Quality Assurance Team working primarily during the night shift, however, there must be flexible to work other shifts. This position may be required to work on the weekend.

The key purpose of this role is to assist with the day-to-day Quality Management System activities. More specifically you will:

· Conduct CCP (Critical control points) checks

· Conduct Finished products adherence checks

· Conduct good manufacturing practice audit

· Non-conformance reporting

· Conduct micro sampling

· Manage retention samples

· Complete and maintain Food Safety records as required

· Conduct calibration checks

· Chemical management

· Raw Material and Finished product released

Familiarity with various software packages is an advantage, along with advanced Excel knowledge.
