We have an exciting opportunity available to join our Albany based Support Centre as a **Regional Manager.**
As a key player in our Customer team, your role extends to influencing, coaching, and developing store management teams to meet all KPI targets and objectives. Your collaboration with Member Principals is crucial in aligning efforts to accomplish strategic and business goals.. To deliver this achievement, relationships will be built with Member Principals and management teams based on the principles of a “Trusted Advisor” across the full store including Trade, Retail and Garden.
As a guardian of Mitre 10 interests and a champion of 'the way forward,' this role is dedicated to enhancing capability at the store management level.
**Reporting to the National Store Support Manager your key functions will include**:
- Maintain a sound understanding of current competitor activity through regular reviews, providing the Member and store management teams with analysis on current and future competitor developments.
- Provide a range of recommendations and initiative proposals to stores to minimise the impact of competitor activity and drive local market share.
- Conduct store reviews, providing pro-active advice and guidance to stores on maintaining operational excellence and business standards.
- Provide appropriate coaching, direction support and assistance to Members and store management teams on business planning, building commercial capability and strategic agility.
- Understand the store needs through proactive two-way feedback; providing customised advice and recommendations for strategies to maximise sales and minimise costs, considering the local catchment area of the store.
- Lead implementation and execution of Mitre 10 strategic initiatives
**To be successful in this role you will have**:
- Solid track record (at least 5 years’) in a similar role, preferably retail or similar complex environment.
- Extensive retail understanding and knowledge, operating at a strategic management level.
- A resilient and driven nature, tenacious in approach with the ability to bring people on the journey.
- Be able and willing to travel.
