**About this job**

Enabling us to get our brews to market is our Supply Chain team who manage brewing, packaging, logistics, customer services and warehousing. As **Logistics Manager** for our South Island operations, based at the DB Draught brewery in Timaru, you’ll lead a team of 24 (with four direct reports) across an onsite warehouse and two offsite storage facilities. Like all FMCG producers in NZ, we’re experiencing challenges with labour supply and global/local logistics, so you’ll find this role requires some fast/creative thinking, lots of flexibility, and the ability to deliver solutions. You’ll lead by example and pitch in where you’re needed to keep the wheels turning

Proven capability as a leader in the logistics and warehousing space will be essential as this is a busy and critical part of our business; we need your expertise in inward/outward goods, warehousing, inventory, distribution, contractor and supplier management, cost management and capex investment, continuous improvement and, most of all, championing a world-class safety culture where people take ownership of their obligations and speak up in relation to their own and others safety. You’ll know how to leverage logistics and warehouse management technology to effectively run facilities and operations, and your values will match ours when it comes to people: You’re capable of building a culture where your team feels valued and included, and your referees will laud your ability to communicate effectively and build credible, trusting internal relationships.
