We have an exciting new opportunity for an Account Manager to join our NZ Fibre Packaging sales team. This role will manage a portfolio of existing customers within Christchurch with a focus on account growth. In addition to this there will also be a new business development expectation.

You will contribute to the success of Opal by:

- Developing productive relationships with your customers and focus on growing sales and building margins by increasing share of wallet or value engineering
- Negotiate customer solution and contracts in line with the Sales strategy that strikes a balance between providing sound arrangements for the customer while meeting profit targets.
- Seeking out opportunities to develop new business opportunities
- Identify and manage stakeholders and decision-makers within Opal and Customer operations.
- Monitor and analyse market trends and competitor activity within specified market segments to identify contacts, prospects and opportunities

Specifically for this role, we expect you will have;
- Sales and/or marketing and supply chain experience (preferably in a manufacturing environment)
- Demonstrated account management experience where you have grown share of wallet with an existing customer portfolio
- Established track record of hunting and closing new business, building relationships and business with new customers
- B2B solution selling experience, ideally within the manufacturing industry
- The ability to manage multiple competing priorities and customer projects concurrently
- Resilience, plenty of energy and lots of enthusiasm
