We are looking for an experienced Sales Professional to join our supportive Thorndon team in a diverse sales role. You will need strong customer service skills and have experience working towards sales KPIs and hitting targets.

Your main focus will be building strong customer relationships with our insurance customers and liaising closely with both our internal insurance support team and insurance providers. You will be consulting with customers in the showroom and in their homes and properties which will provide plenty of opportunities to upsell products. As you will be on the road, a full NZ driving licence is therefore essential. It is essential that you have prior experience working within the flooring industry as when completing insurance jobs, you will be required to identify materials of damaged flooring and be able to suggest a like-for-like replacement or similar if that is the chosen option.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Guide insurance customers through the claims and installation process
- Maintain positive relationships with local Loss Adjusters and Insurance staff
- Identify opportunity to initiate needs based, value adding conversations and offering solution that meet customer needs
- Resolving customer enquiries and proactively following up on any customer contact
- Meet contractual obligations with Insurance providers
- Assist customers with product selection that fits within their insurance claim and their needs

**You will need**:

- 2 - 3 years experience within the flooring industry
- 1-2 years experience in an insurance role or dealing with insurance customers
- A full NZ drivers licence
- Experience in a customer-centric sales role
- Experience working with RFMS (preferred)

You will work with your customers from the initial consultation right through to the post-installation check-up, so this role will definitely suit someone who cares about the full customer experience and delivering the best result possible.

This hours for this role are based on a fortnightly rotation which will be:
Week one - Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5.00pm

Week two - Tuesday to Saturday, 8.30am - 5.00pm

You will have use of a company car when visiting customers on site and a company phone and laptop.

We are offering a base salary of $55,000 - $60,000 per annum plus commission which could mean your overall yearly earnings would be $69,000 - $76,000 per year, though this is uncapped so the earning potential is endless
