**About the Role**

As our Produce Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind one of the busiest and most visually impactful areas of the store. You’ll take charge of the department’s daily operations, lead a talented team, and ensure that our produce is always looking fresh, full, and ready to impress.

This is a hands-on leadership role that calls for strong planning, energy, and an eye for detail. It’s your chance to lead by example and shape the experience customers have from the moment they walk through the doors.

**Your Day-to-Day Will Include**:

- Running the show - from planning, ordering, and stock control to staff rostering and department presentation
- Leading and developing a team to hit sales and margin targets while maintaining high morale
- Ensuring all stock is fresh, rotated, and beautifully merchandised
- Managing supplier relationships and monitoring product quality
- Overseeing food safety, health and safety, and compliance in your area
- Championing a clean, welcoming, and helpful department for our customers
- Being an active and visible leader on the shop floor

**What You’ll Bring to the Table**:

- Proven leadership experience in a retail or fresh food environment
- A strong understanding of produce operations and customer expectations
- Great time management and the ability to stay cool under pressure
- Confidence in communicating with staff, suppliers, and customers alike
- A strong sense of ownership, pride in presentation, and an eye for what makes fresh food appealing
- Physical fitness and a hands-on approach to leading from the front
