As an Operator Transfer Station, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations for our client. Your dedication to customer service and commitment to maximizing resource recovery will be essential in ensuring the success of the company.

**Responsibilities Include**:

- **Resource Recovery Management**: Efficiently control the placement of waste and recyclables deposited by customers, with a focus on maximizing resource recovery and sustainability.
- **Equipment Operation**: Skillfully operate onsite plant and equipment as required, ensuring a smooth and safe waste management process.
- **Traffic Management**: Direct traffic within the transfer station to maintain a safe and organized environment while providing general information and assistance to customers as needed.
- **Customer Service Excellence**: Represent our company with professionalism, delivering high-quality customer service that exceeds expectations.
- **Maintaining Cleanliness**: Keep all buildings, grounds, roadways, and landscaping clean and tidy, upholding a positive image of the company at all times.
- **General Labor Support**: Be willing to contribute to the team by undertaking general laboring duties as required.
- **Administrative Assistance**: Provide support in various administrative tasks as directed.
- **Accurate Record-Keeping**: Ensure all records and paperwork are completed accurately and promptly in accordance with company guidelines.
- **Recycling and Waste Diversion**:Be instrumental in meeting set targets for recycling and diverting waste from landfills, contributing to a greener, more sustainable future.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in waste/recycling management or a similar field is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on exceptional customer service.
- Ability to operate onsite plant and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Willingness to perform general laboring duties when necessary.
- Detail-oriented and organized, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Commitment to sustainability and waste diversion goals.
