**About the Job**:
Are you passionate about product and sales and looking for an opportunity to make a real difference? CDB Media are looking for an experienced Product or Key Account Manager to join the team working with our amazing, market-leading brands. CDB Media has an envious list of customers and supplies into almost every channel of the New Zealand retail landscape, from Grocery, Hardware and Stationery to Consumer Electronics and more.
**Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
- Driving sales growth through product range analysis and opportunity identification
- Management of products and the overall category, from source to shelf
- Ongoing contact with brand owners, manufacturers and retailers to manage pricing and profitability
- Formulate, create and manage retail trade-marketing activities and brand marketing activities
- Direct sales activities as the product experts to ‘sell’ to product buyers
- Background selling products to blue-chip national retailers (head offices), from a wholesaler/distributor perspective
- Time management and prioritization skills to ensure requirements are delivered on time to customer requirements
- Ability to own product database for category, ensuring complete and accurate data is available
- Proven experience in providing input and market feedback to deliver understanding of channels, competitors and products
- A commercial understanding of revenue and profitability metrics
- Existing experience managing trade marketing and traditional marketing spend as well as other category related costs
- The ability to communicate confidently at all levels
