**About the Role**:
As a Telephone Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in achieving and surpassing sales targets while strengthening the reputation of our business. As part of our vibrant regionals sales team, you will leverage your customer service expertise and passion for negotiation to build relationships with new clients, qualify leads, and convert them into loyal customers.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Conduct regular outreach to clients within your portfolio, enhancing their experience and identifying opportunities to increase their spend with Service Foods.
- Build strong rapport with customers, understand their needs, and recommend tailored solutions.
- Negotiate and close sales, consistently exceeding targets.
- Provide outstanding customer service and maintain accurate CRM records.
- Keep clients informed about new product offerings and services.
- Stay current with industry trends and competitor activities.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Proven experience in target-based sales, particularly in telesales or telephone account management.
- A fearless approach to business development through cold calling.
- Exceptional communication skills, with a professional phone manner.
- Confidence in engaging in sales-focused conversations.
- A tertiary qualification is beneficial.
- A track record of consistently meeting sales quotas, ideally over the phone.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- The ability to handle rejection calmly and negotiate effectively.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Knowledge of the food service industry is a plus.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently.
- A target-driven mind set, combined with a strong sense of teamwork.
