**Senior Accounts Receivable**
- $70,000 - $85,000 base + super

We are currently looking for a permanent resource in the Finance team. Our client requires a highly skilled AR professional for this position.
** Some of the tasks involve**:

- Maintain accounts receivable ledgers and debtor management systems by;
- Focusing on providing debtor information and updating the systems with highly accurate data;
- Producing invoices and statements in a timely manner, receiving and dealing with responses, both written and by telephone;
- Processing all inwards cash accurately to debtor accounts;
- Taking responsibility for all unidentified payments, processing of automatic payments and reconciliation of bank accounts;
- Completing daily banking and reconciliations;
- Creating and dispatching reports;
- Monitoring accounts and following up with debtors by telephone to: Discuss accounts
- Agree payment arrangements and Report on progress
- Liaising with debt collection agencies where required

**Ideally you will have**:

- Understanding of fundamental accounting principles and systems.
- Proven experience in an accounts receivable management.
- Experience in using computerised accounting systems;
- Spread sheeting (Excel), word processing and Database management skills;
- Ability to quickly up skill to learn the use of other software;
- Ability to identify system shortcomings and help develop creative solutions;
- Excellent directory and file management skills, both manual and electronic.
