**Team Manager**
- **Permanent, Full-time Position **would enable a consistent oversight of day-to-day operations that include staff management, clinical interactions, guests' entry/exits and all service specifications requirements.
- **Primarily working Monday - Friday (8:30am to 5:00pm), **however the service operates 24 hours, 7 days a week on a rotating roster.
- **Position is based in Silverdale, Auckland**:

- **Pay Scale: $77,621pa - $91,318pa **(depending on experience and qualifications)

**The Service**:
Piri Pono is a 5-bed residential, acute alternative to hospitalisation. Peer led, it is staffed with both nurses and support workers, making it a rare and special combination. Piri Pono in English means to be loyal, faithful and devoted — an allegiance. The name reflect our practice — a respite home that encourages people to pull together with a focus on independent living and building relationships.

Piri Pono is available to those experiencing extreme mental distress who have been assessed by the Rodney Adult Mental Health Services. Guests are able to stay for up to 10 days in a homelike, personalised environment with a holistic approach to wellness.

**Role**:
Team Manager’s role is to provide excellent leadership and management to the staff within their service. This is to ensure the delivery of quality recovery and person-centred focussed services to our guests/whia ora, as well as support the sustainability, growth and development of the service and Ember.

Team Manager’s role is to provide the environment to generate a high performing, capable, productive, and engaging team to deliver outstanding services. They are to manage the service so optimal levels of staff are available for rosters, are qualified, trained, motivated, coached and developed to perform well in their roles.

**You will**:

- Hold a current registered in either of the following fields and preferably hold a qualified health registration with a current APC

Occupational Therapy

DAPAANZ

Counselling

Social Work

Nursing
- At least three years' experience in Mental Health peer sector
- Management experience
- Clear communication skills
- Have experience in management and leadership before
- Full New Zealand Driver Licence
- Valid/Current work visa, residency, or citizenship
- Be able to encourage and role model positive behaviours, participation, and communication in all activities and in line with our values.
- Have some understanding of financial management to support Ember’s procedures.
