Your Opportunity

We are looking for an awesome Regional Manager to lead our Northern Region and its day-to-day operations.

This role will be responsible for:
- Leading a team of passionate professionals to deliver an exceptional customer and people experience- Managing the operations of all inbound and outbound freight- ensuring the utilisation of the appropriate resources to achieve financial results- Effectively leading our teams to achieve quality service standards, whilst upholding a safe working environment- Driving a high-performance culture through our strategic objectives, managing productive stakeholder relationships and maintaining industry compliance standards across the fleet.- You’ll be hands on, visible and ensure the highest levels of engagement with your team and customers- Working as part of the Team Global Express team, you will develop effective working relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external customers.- You’ll enjoy and thrive, working with a leaders who is committed to you and your growth within the company- Your learning and development are a priority to us.

What you’ll bring to this role

To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced people leader with the ability to communicate, influence and deliver on outcomes. Your strong focus on people, leadership, development, Health and Safety along with your extensive experience in the transport industry will set you up for success

- Proven management experience, ideally within the fuel or rural sector
- Health and safety mindset so we lead our operational team beyond compliance.
- Leadership skills; engagement, development, cultural transformation; developing high performing teams
- Relationship management, be capable of building strong relationships and communicating effectively with key stakeholders.
- Planning and organising, be able to organise your team and ensure we are meeting our daily/weekly/monthly targets.
- Passion and energy you’ll bring into our business and ensure our team are motivated to do their very best for our customers.
- Positive behaviour be a role model to your team
- Approach to working alongside your team, being visible, engaged, encouraging and nurturing your team.
