The RoleAs the Design Manager you will play a pivotal role in our Design Services and ensure the smooth running and management of design related projects. You will be the customer's and project stakeholder's first point of contact, and responsible for managing and facilitating the design process from the post the lead qualification stage through to construction.

**Key Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Co-ordination of the Internal Design team
- Management of project stakeholders - Customers/Designers/Local Body representatives
- Managing the quality and approval of lighting designs
- Participating and leading communication with project stakeholders throughout the project design process
- Carrying out site specific pre-design/pre-construction audits
- Safety in design compliancy requirement and documentation
- Issuing ASBUILD documentation
- Post construction project audits
- Maintaining an intrinsic knowledge of local body compliancy requirements
- Build and maintain relationships with local body representatives/Design Engineers (as required)
- Responsibility for sales budget/pre-construction margin/customer satisfaction & retention

- Strong organisation and planning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation skills (ability to negotiate with various stakeholders/councils etc)
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Strong commercial acumen (ability to understand Stakeholders goals and objectives and able to form strategies and plans to negotiate IBEX's goals and objectives)
- High level analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven knowledge and experience with CAD Software
- Strong technical aptitude (knowledge of some form of civil design or engineering would be beneficial to understanding engineering processes and documentation)
