The Role

As Warehouse Manager you will be integral to the warehouse operation, leading by example and fostering a positive team spirit within the warehouse. Your primary focus will be on managing the overall function of the warehouse, while overseeing and providing guidance to a small team.

**The role includes the following responsibilities**:

- Managing the inwards flow of goods from inbound shipments
- Order despatch and distribution of goods
- Stock control; maintain stock levels, replenishing and packaging
- Active management and control of freight costs
- Despatch of orders received in a timely manner
- Develop and implement warehouse and inventory monitoring systems and procedures
- Ensuring site Health and Safety policies are strictly adhered to
- Be actively involved in continuous improvement of policies and procedures
- Conduct regular cycle counts to evaluate and analyse inventory variations
- Championing a positive working environment where the job is done right the first time - it's all about teamwork
- Identifying opportunities for improvements
