The successful Manager Organisational Development is responsible for working strategically in partnership with senior Managers in National Office Groups and across the regions to lead the development, design, and implementation of a holistic and integrated people strategy. The National Manager Organisational Development role needs to fully understand and align with all Groups across the organisation and provide strong linkages back into the Operations and Capability HR teams to ensure a proactive and effective HR service is provided.

**Key to success in this role will be your ability to**:

- Lead the strategic alignment and implementation of organisational development initiatives that deliver to the objectives of HokaI Rangi and the People Plan
- Lead the analysis and delivery of the Strategic Workforce plan that sets out organisational needs for our Future Workforce ensuring all parts of the organisation are represented and included.
- Lead the development and delivery of organisational development frameworks, initiatives and resources that shape and embed the culture of our learning organisation and environment enveloping Te ao Maori principles.
- Lead and advise on our Talent and Leadership Development frameworks and the provision of support by enabling regions access to expert advice, diagnostic tools and other intervention support where required
- Collaborate with senior internal stakeholders across the organisation and develops key stakeholder relationships to work together on ensuring design and delivery of organisational development solutions are “fit for purpose”.
- Liaise with external stakeholders to ensure best practice frameworks and models are grounded in research-based practice at a local, national, and international level and deliver to our Hokai Rangi objectives and

Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience
The successful Manager Organisational Development will have experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of organisational design and development, where strong leadership and stakeholder management and engagement were key, along with;
- Applied understanding of Te Ao Maori concepts and values.
- Delivery of a strong value proposition for OD
- An understanding and commitment to supporting the Departments strategic plan Hokai Rangi.
- Work closely with peers to strengthen our Development Pathways and Learning Organisation aspirations
- Ability to build and gain endorsement to a long-term strategic workforce plan
- Ensure strategies and plans weave in People Plan focus areas - Te Ao Maori, Values, Leadership and Safety & Wellbeing
- Support organisational performance and effectiveness through review and analysis of roles, functions, operating model and organisational design
- Establish strong change management practices and procedures

Utu ā-tau | Salary
Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role with the midpoint of this salary sitting at $151,581.00
