**Te Whiwhinga Mahi| The Opportunity**:
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with IoT knowledge to play a key role in growing our success as part of the New Business and Growth Team.
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and converting new opportunities for an innovative new IoT venture. You will work closely with IoT Business Manager as well as the wider Chorus and Neura Team to support and develop the evolution of the sales strategy; this will include collaboration with the solutions and network team, channel partners and customers to understand key customer requirements that could lead to opportunities and providing exceptional relationship management and support to ensure effective delivery of products to customers.
Your day to day would include:
- Planning a market engagement programme, including building relationships with key channel partners and customers so to ensure you have a sufficient pipeline of opportunities.
- Using Chorus’s strategic selling tools, lead and close large/complex customer opportunities in conjunction with the wider Chorus business
- Owning key relationships with channel partners and customers (non RSPs).
- Closing sufficient opportunities to ensure you meet or exceed your targets.
- Supporting programmes such as conferences, product road shows and other marketing activities to create awareness and demand for Neura’s products.
- Setting realistic delivery expectation with, and being an advocate for, our channel partners/customers into Neura’s Solution delivery teams.
**Ō Wheako, ō Pūkenga | Your Experience**:
We are looking for someone very comfortable with selling technology, who has extensive experience with solution selling, including promoting a number of adjacent products and services as an integrated customer solution.
Qualities and experience we’re looking for include:
- A proven record of consistently meeting or exceeding targets
- Demonstrated ability to win new accounts and identify and convert high value deals
- An engaged team player with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Ability to set priorities and stay focused in a dynamic and changing environment
- Excellent financial and commercial acumen
- Strong business writing and presentation skills
- Knowledge of the New Zealand business market
- Extensive senior relationships with relevant technology channel partners and customers would be advantageous
