Due to our lovely Venue Manager moving overseas at the end of July, we are in need of a new leader out here in Island Bay This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced manager who is looking to take a step up and run their own venue

We are a suburban bar and restaurant, which prides itself on delivering high quality experiences to the community. Brew'd Island Bay is a hub for the locals, so applicants must be keen to build and maintain relationships with our regulars We have plenty of fun things going on over here, including Wednesday quiz nights, Friday night live music and kids eat free on Sundays It would be great to help our venue continue to evolve our offering with your fresh ideas

As the Venue Manager of Brew'd, you will be the face of the venue who loves a bit of banter We have a big focus on getting involved with our community. Our ideal applicant will be someone who is excited to get represent our brand at local events, such as school sports days or the Island Bay Festival. You will be leading a small but hard-working team. You will be an all-rounder who has great food and beverage knowledge that you can pass on to the team, helping them to learn and grow in the Hospo world

The starting salary for this role is $70,000 per annum with a minimum of 45 hours per week.
- Have at least 3 years of Hospitality experience, with at least one year at a senior management level
- Have a current and valid Duty Managers License and LCQ (this is essential)
- Be a quick thinker and able to work well under pressure
- Be good with systems and technology (we run a takeaway Gorilla Burger site from our kitchen, and this can get pretty busy)
- Be able to build great rapport with staff and customers alike
- Have excellent food and beverage knowledge
- Be a patient leader who has great communication skills
