As one of Dunedin's premier wedding and event venues, Glenfalloch is renowned for its exceptional hospitality and vibrant, welcoming atmosphere.

We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Restaurant Manager to lead our front-of-house team and take our guest experience to the next level.

About the Role

We're seeking someone with energy, creativity, and a genuine love for hospitality — a leader who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.

You'll be responsible for ensuring our guests enjoy outstanding service from start to finish, while fostering a positive, motivated, and high-performing team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leadership & Team Development: Inspire and train your team to deliver warm, professional service every day.
  • Guest Experience: Create memorable moments that keep guests coming back — every interaction counts.
  • Wine & Beverage Expertise: Curate and recommend wine pairings, maintain inventory, and elevate our beverage offering (LCQ preferred).
  • Operations Management: Oversee daily operations, including bookings, rostering, and inventory control.
  • Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with our talented Executive Chef to deliver a seamless front-and-back-of-house experience.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, control costs, and drive growth through smart, efficient management.
  • Barista & Beverage Service: Ensure consistently excellent coffee and beverage service — and share your skills with your team.
