**The Role**

Based at our North Harbour branch. As the Fleet Assistant you’ll be at the hub of our operations, working on the loading and unloading of freight from our courier vans and with a keen eye, identifying and reporting on day to day events. With an admin focus as well you will be reporting on condition of all vehicles and allocation of scanners. This role is also critical in the delivery of our premium services to customers, working with the broader management team to ensure service standards are met and exceeded, through the upholding of service level goals. Providing hands-on assistance where needed and getting involved with service analysis and reporting, you’ll be at the hub of our team, strengthening the link between our drivers, Operations teams and customers.

This is a fulltime role, working Monday
- Friday 6:30am
- 3pm and Rostered Saturdays.

**Key responsibilities include**
- Driving Image and Compliance with Vehicle and uniforms
- Training drivers towards service excellence
- Regular vehicle audits + Scanner Audits
- Identifying and implementing improvement initiatives
- Comfortable with repetitive lifting - can lift up to 25kgs
- A positive and approachable demeanour both with customers and contractors
- Experience in working with operational performance metrics
- Knowledge and experience in freight/logistics industries
- Strong eye for detail and can swiftly communicate issues where found
