We are looking for a new Fleet Sales Consultant. This is a rare and amazing opportunity to work within one of New Zealand’s top group consisting of five stores and 150 staff - Manawatu & TRC Toyota.

You will be responsible for growing our network of fleet customers by actively prospecting new business opportunities. Also, guiding our existing base of commercial clients through the sales processes of new (or used) vehicles. Not only will you have NZ’s leading vehicle brand to sell, but also our genuine accessories, finance options, insurance, service plans and Toyota care products.

Based in Palmerston North, the role will also see you working across our whole group with regular, scheduled visits to our stores and communities in Whanganui, Feilding, Levin and Masterton.

Are you a ‘networker’? Connections with local businesses and people will help, as will the important ability to identify and professionally approach potential new clients and sell them the benefits of our products, service, and long lasting, supportive relationships.

Training and development your thing? You will be supported by and report to our New Vehicle Manager, and engage in training, both in-house and from Toyota New Zealand. To enhance your already existing skillset, you will be trained to become a Toyota Certified Fleet Specialist.

Customer relationships along with being a positive team player are of utmost importance. Strong communication, high standards and a genuine desire to go the extra mile is vital. You will become a trusted advisor to our customers, assisting them in managing their fleet vehicles effectively, whilst also managing our internal customer data base to grow, retain and nurture these relationships.

We will arm you with a company vehicle, phone, surface-pro and competitive package including retainer plus commission. Commissions will be guaranteed for the first few months whilst you get up and running.
