**Guest Services Ticketing & Sales - Assistant**

Our Guest Services team is usually the first point of contact for guests visiting Coronet Peak/The Remakables or our Snow centre. Our aim is to make Guest Services the easiest part of their day and get them out on snow as soon as possible.

You'll be able to share your passion for the mountains by finding the best products to suit the individual needs of guests, with your extensive knowledge of our products, packages, rentals, snowsport lessons, transport and all that happens on and off mountain. Your challenge as part of the GS team is to focus on the person in front of you, no matter how big the queue behind them or what time of day it is.

In order to succeed within Team GS you need to be fun loving, enjoy helping out your team mates, love sharing your passion with our customers, and be able to balance your cash till at the end of a long day.
**About the role**
- Meeting and greeting all guests to the ski area
- Processing sales as well as all other guest enquiries (i.e. managing bookings, rescheduling lessons/transport etc.)
- Finding opportunities to improve our customer’s experience through recommendations you are providing- Operation of the Point of Sale till system and balancing takings at the end of each day
- Managing product bookings through our Point of Sale system
- Handling lost property

**About You**
- Front line customer service experience with a proven commitment to the guest service experience
- Previous cash handling skills
- An interest in learning about ski industry products and pricing (full training will be given)
- Willingness and flexibility to assist other departments as and when required, including Retail, Food & Beverage and Lifts.
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Previous experience of using Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Willingness and flexibility to assist other departments as and when required including Rentals, Food & Beverage and Lifts.**The Benefits**

**Further Information**
- Please note: This role may be based at Coronet Peak, The Remarkables or the Snow Centre in Queenstown and you will be rotating through locations throughout the season
- Valid work visa required. Work sponsorship option not available.
- Flexible employment options: Full-time, part-time, casual, 4-day-weeks etc.
