**Mō te Tūranga | About the Role**
Your role involves supporting the modelling of insurance-associated emissions and climate-driven changes to natural peril risk. Your key responsibilities include maintaining and improving datasets for IAG’s Insurance Associated Emissions (IAE) and physical climate risks, engaging with stakeholders to enhance data, and using automation and AI tools where appropriate. The role also involves implementing repeatable methodologies, preparing metrics for public disclosures and internal reporting, and providing data expertise to Actuarial & Pricing teams, all while complying with IAG’s Group Model Governance Policy.
This is a permanent full time hybrid role and you’ll need to be based in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland)
**Ōu Pūkenga | About You**
To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally need to have the following:
- Demonstrated expertise in statistical software packages (R, SAS, Python) and database management tools.- Proven ability to manage large and complex datasets.- Strong aptitude for learning new skills, adapting, and creating value through experimentation.- Capability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-changing work environment.- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an analytical role.
