**Mō te tūnga | About the role**

We want you to be able to wow the diverse range of guests who visit us at Mt Ruapehu. Show them your sparkling and helpful personality and help make sure they have the best day ever

You will need to:

- Make sure our guests have loads of fun
- Provide efficient, polite and professional service to all guests.
- Provide up-to-date and accurate information to the public on products and prices and what they can experience on Mt Ruapehu Ski Areas.
- Competently operate the Point of Sale and EFTPOS system as required.
- Deal with complaints, compliments and suggestions in a helpful and empathetic manner.
- Provide assistance to your fellow team members and around the mountain at all times.

**Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu | What you will bring**

While we provide all the training you will need to be able to understand and sell our products, the following skills and experience would help you succeed:

- Previous experience in a sales or retail role with a focus on guest service
- Experience with a point of sale system and cash handling
- Computer savvy and experience using Microsoft systems
- A commitment to great guest service
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
