About the role
The Associate Director - Customer & Growth at Datacom is responsible for providing Connectivity & Security leadership to our existing customers, building new relationships in the market, and innovating our products and services.
Your ability to build strong and collaborative relationships across our teams, our customers, and the market is critical. You will work with our clients to provide thought leadership and develop strategic partnerships aimed at driving growth and success.
You will be part of a company that believes in exploring new possibilities to solve technological and organisational challenges across New Zealand and Australia. We need someone who is passionate about delivering value with technology and expertise, with a particular focus on Connectivity and Cybersecurity, and ready to push boundaries with us.

**What you will do**:

- You will build value-based relationships and partnerships with senior stakeholders in public and private organisations across New Zealand.
- As a member of the Connectivity & Security leadership team you will work with other leaders to build and deliver a compelling strategy to lead the market and meet business objectives.
- You will regularly take part in industry activities such as speaking to or negotiating with customers, and representing Datacom on matters of significance.
- You will develop customer specific strategies that deliver business growth and continue to increase the value we deliver to customers.
- You will ensure we have market leading products and offerings available to our customers that reflect current and future demand.

About you
- You’ll be able to demonstrate strong leadership experience driving people and business growth with a positive culture of delivery excellence and connectedness.
- You will be passionate about Cybersecurity and Connectivity services, emerging technology, business transformation, and solving customer challenges.
- You’ll understand the positive business impact of maintaining strong partnerships with existing customers and development of new ones and improvement in customer relationships
- You'll have a strong drive to innovate and explore new opportunities in service development with an eye for where we can differentiate ourselves on the market.
- You’ll effectively drive market development to improve brand recognition, build revenue, increase profitability and support the acquisition of new customers
- You'll know that successful technology adoption requires people and process enablement.
- You’ll be commercially astute and have a reputation for delivery where joint value is realised.
- You’ll be someone who can harness thought leadership and innovation to deliver pragmatic and differentiating solutions for our customers.
- You’ll care deeply about the experience our customers have with us from discovery to design to delivery, with a knack for keeping the business problem we’re solving front and centre.
