**Service**: Occupational Therapy Permanent part time position in Community / Community Rehabilitation position
**Contract**: Permanent part-time 0.5 FTE (40 Hours per fortnight), with opportunities for role growth. The role is Enhance Intermediate Rehabilitation unit and Community.

**K**ō**rero m**ō** te t**ū**ranga - About the role**
This position is responsible for providing Occupational Therapy service to client’s rehabilitation within Enhance Intermediate Care Unit /Residential facility and Community
Enhance Intermediate Care is part of the Older Person Health and Rehabilitation Services (OPHRS): Eligible clients are accepted to the service for assessment and rehabilitation when they require input from two or more members of the Intermediate Care Interdisciplinary team. Within this role client will require community services regarding equipment and housing modification and you will be working with the community Occuaptional therapy and Allied Health team.

Our team provides rehabilitation care across acute and non-acute inpatient wards, and we’re happy to support other teams to ensure their success.
**Mo**ū** - About you**
You will need to have:
- Registered with Occupational Therapy Board of New Zealand and work within Occupational Therapy board code of conduct
- Experience in rehabilitation and community services
- The ability to provide efficient, effective intervention for community and inpatients client.
- A knowledge/ understanding of funding processes for Enable NZ and ACC
- A commitment to quality service delivery and comply with the privacy act
- An interest in and empathy with elderly and disabled clients
- Motivated to learn, explore and assist staff and patients during high demand
- Good time management skills
- Eager to learn
- Work well within a team and as an individual
