Project Path is seeking an experienced CAD Technician to join their team.
Project Path offers Specialist Construction Project Planning, Programme Management and Project Controls consulting services. Their expertise is in areas of Tenders and Project Delivery, in a range of infrastructure projects such as Rail, Tunnel, Storm Water/Waste Water Works.
**What will you be doing?**
- Supporting tender and project team with preparation of engineering drawings and sketches by studying construction specifications and methodologies on a range of civil infrastructure projects.
- Perform site visits and carry out site assessments to gather all necessary data for further analysis and calculations.
- Work closely with in a team of design engineers and collaborate with other teams/disciplines to plan, design and execute a range of infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate with survey teams and develop timely as-built drawings for client submissions.
- Provide technical CAD expertise, standards and all updates.
- Ensure that the end drawings / design meet all relevant standards, codes and compliance.
- Interact with Sub-contractors and Suppliers related to designs, drawings, and their standards and quality.
**You Will have**:
You’ll have the following qualities and experience:
- A degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
- At least 3 years of experience as a CAD Technician, preferably in the construction sector.
- Proficient with various CAD tolls such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Navisworks.
- Experience working on infrastructure projects.
- Extensive knowledge of industry best practices, standards, codes and processes.
- Advanced Microsoft Excell, Aconex and SharePoint skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with focus on accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others in the teams to get things done.
- Excellent time management and organisation skills.
- You’ll be an effective communicator, outcome-focused and a team player.
- Full NZ Licence.
- NZ Work Rights.
This is a role which requires sound CAD capabilities and project administration skills. If you meet the above criteria and willing to make a positive impact, be part of some legacy projects, then we want to hear from you.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
