**At the core of this role is structural design detailing using Revit and working alongside structural engineers. There will also be some civil projects and you will have the opportunity to develop your Civil3D skills.**

In this role, you will be mainly working with engineers - they provide the core design and you use this to create fully detailed drawings. This is an interactive role, and with modern technology and attitudes, this firm is very open to someone keen to work from home for part of the day / week. After all - the reast of the team do

**So...what do we need?**

**Requirements**:
This role will suit you iif you have some "real world" experience with Revit or similar and are keen and able to learn quickly. You will be an excellent communicator and team player, especially as many of the team are also working some of the time out of the office.
- Typically 2+ years equivalent experience in structural / architectural projects
- Excellent written and spoken English
- NZ Citizenship or Permanent residence desirable.
- CAD capable (Revit / AutoCAD) or similar, Civil3D bonus.
- Keen to progress with a dynamic team

**Questions**:
**Q: Do I need to have structural experience?**
A: Not necessarily, but you will need to have a portfolio of construction or civil projects, whether than be architectural, engineering, surveying etc..

**Q: Do I need be in New Zealand**?
A: Yes. We expect to fill this role before flights open up so, unless you're in transit already, it is unlikely we will be able to consider you.

**Q: Do you need tertiary civil engineering qualifications?**
A: No, CAD skills and attitude are more important.

**Q: When you say "remote" - can I do this from my pad in Hawaii?**
A: If only but sorry Amigo - you will need to be physically here in Christchurch or North Canterbury in order to carry out site visits and meet with the team.

**Q: Do I need to have Civil 3D skills?**
A: Not necessarily, but you will need to be proficient with CAD ideally with some 3D package like 12D.

**Q: What about salary?**
A: It's above average and especially if you are.

**Q: What sort of person do you actually want?**
A: Somebody who is Revit capable and able to produce a full set of drawings perhaps with some minor technical help, Someone with a history of learning and adapting fast and producing accurate work. Someone who communicates well and cab be both flexible and responsible regardless of location.
