**The Central Interceptor is a wastewater tunnel that will run between the Mangere Wastewater Treatment Plant and Grey Lynn. The 14.7-kilometre-long tunnel will run between 15 and 110 metres below ground. It will cross the Manukau Harbour at about 15 metres under the seabed. Along the route, it will connect to the existing wastewater network, which will divert flows and overflows into the tunnel.**

**What you will be doing**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
Some of the things you may get involved with but may not be limited to the following
- Creating accurate CAD drawings from hand sketches, verbal instructions, and site visits.
- Seamlessly integrating and working with the technical team, construction team, design consultants, and sub-contractors, to produce and alter drawings.
- Management and organisation of all emergent CAD drawings.
- Printing of CAD drawings in various formats and packages - delivering them to the correct contact in a timely manner.
- Thinking creatively and critically to support the project team in the design process, to create sketches and drawings that work.
- Creating and continually updating project drawings lists.
- Systematically saving sketches and drawings on our CAD server; keeping the server organised; updating project folders and files as jobs progress and revisions are made.
- Exhaustively reviewing and checking sketches and drawings for errors, before being sent out
- Seeking clarity and understanding from engineers and project managers when you are not 100% certain of something.
- Organising and uploading drawings to web-based storage sites/collaboration project sites to share drawings
- Design Engineering as required
- Qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent degree
- Current Class 1 drivers' licence
- Experience working in the construction / infrastructure sector
- Experience using design tools and software - preferably AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Proficient with MS Office suite.

We have a full-time, permanent position available, Auckland based (minimum 40 hours per week Monday-Friday). The salary is between $65,000 - $75,000, experience, skills and qualifications dependent.

All successful applicants will be required to undertake a Ministry of Justice and pre-employment drug and medical checks.
