Team Summary

Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) Australia, New Zealand, and South Pacific (AUNZSP) is Visa's advisory division, working with Visa's clients (including card issuers, acquirers, and merchants) on a broad range of key business initiatives including strategy, operational optimisation, customer engagement and overall business profitability.

VCA is made up of three services lines - Advisory, Data Science and Managed Services, the latter being the execution arm of VCA. Our Managed Services teams (also known as squads) are embedded on client sites leading long-term engagements and delivering value primarily through implementation and execution services. We deliver objectives from a shared value agenda but are also closely connected to the broader VCA team, sharing knowledge, and bringing the best of Visa to the client.

We are looking for a dedicated Senior Manager for the role of Senior Manager Acquisition & Retention embedded with one of our valued clients based in Auckland. This role is a 24-month fixed term contract.

Role Summary

As a Senior Manager Acquisition & Retention, you will be responsible for delivering customer acquisition and retention strategies that drive great customer and business outcomes for our client. You will work closely with delivery partners in Sales Distribution Teams, Marketing, Customer Engagement and Data and Analytics. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership, and deep expertise in customer lifecycle management within the banking sector.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and deliver go-to-market customer acquisition and retention strategies for business banking alongside key stakeholder across the enterprise.
- Identify opportunities and support the development of Next Best Conversations to successfully meet business customer needs throughout their lifecycle.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the enterprise to deliver initiatives that build capability and improve business performance.
- Optimise sales performance across channels by refining and managing the sales funnel - awareness, consideration, contact rates, conversion and retention rates.
- Turn the main bank/market share and domain cohort strategies into deliverable initiatives.
- Design and deliver compelling propositions to improve customer acquisition, entrenchment and retention.

**Qualifications**
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Banking and or financial services experience.
- Experience in acquisition and retention - including lead identification and conversion, proposition development.
- Outstanding stakeholder engagement and influencing skills - you will be able to work with a range of stakeholders to create collaborative working relationships and drive behavioural change across the sales and retention processes to deliver strong business performance.
- High degree of commercial acumen - you will understand what drives customer and colleague behaviour and develop approaches that optimise the customer and/or colleague experience and drives business performance.
- A results driven mind set.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.

Desirable:

- At least 5-10 years broad experience in designing and delivering go-to-market customer acquisition and retention strategies in financial services or similar industry.
- Understanding of the emerging propositions in payments and their role in driving business customer success
