**The opportunity - Te Whiwhinga mahi**
Our Property Acquisition Team has a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Property Acquisition Manager to join our team based in Auckland.
- leading and engaging with key stakeholders including landowners, Iwi partners, local government agencies and local community.
- supporting the implementation of major infrastructure projects that will help shape New Zealand into the future.
- driving best practice in property acquisition to continuously improve the way we work and how we support wider NZTA objectives.
Working as part of a regionally dispersed team you will help deliver NZTA's Property Acquisition Programme which ranges from $75m to $750m each year to support our transport system property programmes. This includes helping develop property strategies for future projects in conjunction with our LINZ Accredited Suppliers, including cost estimates and risk mitigation.

**About you - Ko wai tenei**
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Experience in a similar or related property role
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate to achieve results
- Knowledge and experience of the Public Works Act 1981.
- Negotiation skills to assist with managing multi-party issues and/or difficult relationships
- A relevant tertiary qualification
