We now have an exciting opportunity, to join the Three Waters Quality & Compliance Team as a Quality Assurance Officer, on a fixed-term basis.

**About the team**:
The Quality & Compliance Team - 3 Waters is an influential and trusted team committed to proactively ensuring water sustainability. We are a diverse and high skilled team of professionals that live our values every day: _One team, making it happen with integrity and passion._

We are passionate about leading a continuous improvement culture to achieve excellence in our three waters systems, so we will provide you with a challenging and wide variety of projects. We'll give you flexibility in your work day to maximise job satisfaction, and the room to create synergies with 3 waters specialists who enjoy sharing their expertise and supporting your work.

**About the role**:

- Communication is key and you'll have proven customer-facing and presentation skills with strong ability to communicate with internal stakeholders at all levels of the business as well as robust auditing, reporting or engineering background. You'll also have great relationship building skills and can provide analysis and recommendations to the highest levels of the Council.
- You need to have practical experience using a range of current computer programmes for research and analysis, word processing, spreadsheets and databases.
- You will ideally hold a tertiary qualification in environmental science, engineering, water, resource management or equivalent and a driver's licence. Even if you come from different industries or backgrounds, we will consider your relevant skills for this role. For that, it's essential you have a 'can do' attitude, excellent interpersonal relationship skills and that you can think outside the box.

**Additional information**:

- Hours of work - Fixed-term for 12 months, 40 hours per week.
- Location - This position is primarily based at Te Hononga Civic Offices, 53 Hereford Street
