Switched On Housing is looking for an experienced Quality Manager to join our team in the Christchurch Office. Your previous experience will see you contribute positively to the success of the Quality and Assurance aspects of our Maintenance Partnership (Te Mahi Ngatahi) with Kāinga Ora.

Reporting to the General Manager and working alongside your counterpart in our Region 07 contract area, will be responsible and accountable for all the quality and assurance functions and activities in Christchurch, Nelson/Blenheim and West Coast. This role is a key conduit for Switched On Housings quality relationship with Kāinga Ora.

Pulling on your leadership experience you will be able to lead and inspire your quality team. You will be able to pivot and adjust operational quality functions to ensure we are meeting our KPI targets
- Key responsibilities include but not limited to:_
- Assuring appropriate Quality Management Plans are in place and are effective.
- Build and maintain a collaborative relationship with Kāinga Ora
- Monthly reporting to Kāinga Ora
- Provide leadership to the Quality Team, ensure team culture aligns with the business values
- Monitoring of Sub-contractors to ensure compliance with Kāinga Ora standards.

**Requirements**:

- Quality background preferred but not essential
- 3+ years Senior leadership role
- Experience within the Construction industry or similar
- Ability to build and maintain rapport with both internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- A methodical and logical approach thinker
- Well-rounded individual who is collaborative and team orientated, yet prepared to challenge their team.
