**He aha te mahi? What’s the role?**:
The Continuous Improvement Partner is a value-adding role for Zespri’s Finance function. The primary purpose is to critically evaluate and continually improve processes and procedures across the global finance function. To resolve incidents and known issues, develop and prepare performance reports, ensure user adoption of new processes and procedures and perform related tasks.

The role is to be performed with high standards of service to internal customers and business partners. This role will drive excellence in Continuous Improvement methodologies process and practices with the aim of embedding this capability into the Finance function.

**The core responsibilities of the role will include;**
- Critically review processes across finance sub functions.
- Implement and embed improved processes across all functions to drive continuous improvement and global best practice.
- Act as a change agent for leading and managing continuous improvement processes while instilling a culture of accountability.
- Seek to continuously improve cost effectiveness and efficiency, ensure that systems/solutions/upgrades/processes are maintained and developed.
- Act as the “go to” technical support for process improvement knowledge and strategies for employees at all levels in Finance.
- Engage the business and finance leaders in the continuous improvement process to ensure that projects are identified, prioritised and implemented in a timely and efficient manner.

You will have strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to gain clear commitment from others, as well as a willingness to quickly adapt and respond to change. You will also meet the following selection criteria:

- 5+ years’ experience in a global finance function for a large corporate organisation.
- Working knowledge of lean or Six Sigma-based continuous improvement methods.
- SAP (preferred) or Tier 1 ERP Systems experience.
- Strong reporting skills, adaptable to audiences varying from business users to the Executive team.
- Advanced Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills.
- Advanced ability to analyse and optimise metrics: understanding gaps in data whilst recognising whole systems and their interdependencies.
- Ability to make rational judgements from the available information by analysing numerical and verbal data from a number of sources.
- Extremely results oriented with a strong focus on quality and meeting customer needs through service delivery.
- Able to forge string working relationships with culturally and geographically diverse set of colleagues at all levels of the organisation.
