**The Company**

My client is a large well known MNC company with significant brand and operations in NZ, reporting to regional HQ in Singapore and global headquarters in Germany. Although the business is large, the company in NZ has a lovely family feel where people look out for one another. The business is based in Mt Wellington, can provide a hybrid working culture and flexibility. Parking for this role is available.

**The Role**

In this role you will report directly to the Commercial Manager and be a senior member of the commercial finance team. In this role, you will assume an informal leadership role and drive business performance. You will be responsible for the following:

- Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts
- Support sound commercial decision making and understanding of KPI for evaluating investments and existing business
- Prepare & review regular reporting packs for the division profitability reporting
- Prepare ad hoc reports, modelling and financial analysis for various business partners, streams & opportunities.
- Review contract pricing mix to assess profitability/ROI etc and proposed scenario planning options for improvements to SMT
- Key business liaison and relationship partner for the division
- Assist and complete weekly/monthly client billing activities
- Establish revenue leakage program policy and framework for new & existing customer profitability and potential recoveries
- Other ad hoc reporting and business support as required
- Provide oversight to the administration team who support this business function.

**Skills & Experience required**

To be considered for this role, we are looking for an individual who has the following attributes:

- Strong analytical ability
- Strong excel capabilities
- Confident with dealing with senior management and the operations of the business
- Able to motivate & engage administrative support to this role
- Attention to accuracy
- A strong management accounting / analytical background
- Exposure to transport, FMCG, logistics, Warehousing or supply chain industries would be helpful.
- CA is not a must - you may be studying toward
- A level of maturity required to demonstrate the ability to own this role

This is a role where the incumbent has proven skills at this level and can really add value to the business fast, whilst driving continuous improvement projects. This is a great stepping stone for an individual who is pursuing a career as a commercial manager.
