Are you an educationalist with a passion for programme writing? We are seeking a skilled and visionary Programme Developer to join our team and support the development and enhancement of our programmes across the wānanga.
In this role, you will lead and contribute to the design, development, review and accreditation of new and current programmes. You’ll work closely with our schools of study to ensure our offerings remain relevant, high-quality, and aligned with our values and aspirations as a wānanga.
Our successful applicant will have:
- A minimum of a degree in education or related field, with experience in any of the following:
- A teaching qualification and/or tertiary teaching experience.
- Experience writing curriculum for new and/or re-developed programmes in the tertiary sector.
- Proven experience of self-evaluation, monitoring and Quality Management systems.
- Project management experience.
- Proven written and needs analysis skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- A full clean driver’s licence
The ability to co-ordinate diverse work programmes is necessary. Knowledge of tikanga Māori and the ability to korero Te Reo Māori to at least an intermediate level of competency are desirable.
