Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi is a vibrant and exciting tertiary education institution which offers a range of programmes from certificate to doctorate level, across a range of disciplines.

We are looking for a Programme Co-ordinator to lead and co-ordinate our Certificate in Wai Ora (Level 3 and 4) programmes that are delivered mixed mode from multiple sites across the motu.

You will also be responsible for academic programme quality including oversight of student evaluations, changes to the programmes and resources, reporting on outcomes and ensuring that students receive regular and helpful feedback.

This position is currently responsible for 5 direct reports located across Aotearoa. However, there is an opportunity to expand and grow the number of programmes delivered in the future.

Our successful applicant will have:

- Relevant experience co-ordinating academic programmes, monitoring NZQA accredited programmes, and managing direct reports.
- Demonstrated success in academic leadership, in the tertiary sector.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and/or studying towards a Master’s degree.
- An adult teaching qualification and adult teaching experience.
- Practical experience relevant to Wai Ora, such as water science, environmental science and/or freshwater, or marine ecosystems.
- Marae, hapū and iwi networks.

Knowledge of tikanga Māori, and at least intermediate level Te Reo Māori skills, fluency preferred.
