**Mo tenei turanga mahi | About the role**

As Advisor Capability and Organisational Development, you'll support and lead the design, delivery and continuous improvement of organisational development initiatives, learning and training programmes and products. You'll work across the Commission to ensure our capability and development initiatives identify and shape relevant training and learning solutions and will deliver meaningful development outcomes for our people.

You'll also play a key role in supporting the management of our in-house Learning Management System (LMS), supporting both system administration and content development. This is a varied and rewarding role that offers lots of scope to contribute and grow - from shaping learning pathways and supporting project delivery, to helping build culture through team workshops.

This is a permanent role with the salary band being $85,453 - $94,948

**He aha t u e mahi ana | What you'll be doing**
- Work with the Capability and Organisational Development Lead to design, develop and implement organisational development initiatives including a leadership approach and the build of a capability framework for our people.
- Identify capability needs across the organisation and recommend practical learning solutions.
- Contribute to wider organisational development initiatives, such as employee engagement, values, and building organisational and team culture.
- Support the design and delivery of high-quality learning content and resources (online and in person).
- Work with the Instructional Designer to lead smaller learning and development projects from design to delivery.
- Support the evaluation of learning programmes to measure impact and inform improvements.
- Support the management and administration of the Commission's Learning Management System (Totara), ensuring it runs smoothly and effectively.
- Collaborate closely with other teams across the Commission (eg Training in Operations Group) to ensure our learning and development approach is inclusive, targeted, and impactful.

You are curious, proactive and thrive on collaboration. You are confident analysing learning needs, shaping training resources, and offering advice that supports capability uplift at both the individual and organisational level.

**Ng pukenga me ng wheako | Skills and experience**
- Experience in designing and delivering organisational development initiatives, L&D solutions, ideally in a public sector or complex environment.
- Proven ability to work with stakeholders to scope and deliver capability projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into engaging learning content.
- Experience managing a Learning Management System (or the confidence to quickly pick one up).
- A collaborative working style and willingness to support team success.
- A continuous improvement mindset and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- A relevant qualification in OD, learning, or project management is a bonus, but not essential.
